See how far you can get in this 24 hour ultra marathon. Great for those looking to push their limits, the course heads south from Prestatyn along the National Trail. Come for the challenging yet stunning route or for the well stocked check points.

24 Hours South- The Offa's Dyke Ultra route

Runners will begin on the North Wales Coast at Prestatyn and will head south along the National Trail.

The runners only task is to go as far as they can in 24 hours.

There will be designated rest points set up at Llandegla (28.3 miles), Trefonen (52.3 miles), Forden (75.9 miles) and Knighton (96 miles). At these rest points, runners can access their drop bags as requested before race day.

The race will end 24 hours later on 17/05/2020.

More information will be sent out to those registered.

Kit List

Below is a list of compulsory kit:

- Full body waterproof cover.

- Survival blanket.

- A minimum of 1.5l of water at the start.

- Fully Charged mobile phone.

- Map (provided) and compass.

- Whistle.

- Hat & Gloves.

Each runner will need a dedicated support driver on hand to collect you from the end of the race.

The drive will need to transport you back to the nearest of the 4 main Checkpoints below to pick up your drop bag, 'sign out' with the marshal team and drop off your timing & tracking devices.


Spectators are welcome. The best places to view the runners will be at the checkpoints.
