Featuring wild and rugged terrain, this route takes runners up and down steep climbs and descents that test your mind as well as your body. Each day is unique with its own individual challenges and famous landmarks to add to the experience.
The course follows the South West Coast path, which is marked by the Acorn sign.
You will be issued with course maps and the emphasis is on self-navigation. In most cases, it's as easy as keeping the sea on your right and the land on your left.

Did the 3 Day Challenge in 2021
In general terms, we felt the event was well organised, however there are areas that need significant improvement.1/ There was very little variety at the feed stations, a few energy bars, coke and some poor sandwiches and that was pretty well it, - one or two stations also had flapjack.2/ Evening meals at event headquarters wasn’t great considering the price, on the evening of day two they ran out of pork and gammon before our team got there, so no meat was available, - that must NEVER be allowed to happen on these events, eventually they found some chicken breasts, but they weren’t great and not what we wanted.3/ The biggest disappointment was the medal, it should reflect the scale of the event, 78 miles in three days is a huge undertaking yet the medal was a very cheap small piece of laser etched plywood, and crossing the finish line was all a bit underwhelming, it should’ve been a significant heavy metal and enamel medal - or they could’ve used a bit of imagination and used locally sourced slate.I don’t think we would do this event again, it was all way too ‘pound shop’ for us and it showed. It’s a great pity, because with the breathtaking dramatic scenery and beautiful coves this could be one of the biggest and best events out there.
