Cut off Time
At Endorphin Sport Events, they do not impose cut off times as they understand the pressure it can put you under and they'd rather you enjoy the scenery and enjoy your event! This means you will receive an official time regardless.
Please be mindful however, that we do have other races happening throughout the weekend so organisation will be in full swing for this from mid afternoon on the Saturday and marshals may be reporting back to Registration to assist in this (should we have a shortage of marshals). Signage will remain in place until the organiser is sure ALL ENTRANTS have finished.
In addition, it is at the organiser's discretion as the event organiser to consider the safety of all entrants, if they feel you are continuing at the detriment to your health or safety they may call it a day on your behalf.
Run Buggies/Strollers
The current planned course will allow for the use of specific running strollers, HOWEVER please note although the course will be manned and marshalled, no road closures are planned.
Bag Dropping Zone
There will be a secure bag drop available at Registration. There will be a tear-off bag tag at the bottom of your race number OR a separate Baggage Label included in your Race pack, make sure to attach it to your bag. This area is secure, however please note the organiser does not accept any responsibility for loss, theft or breakages.

A very tough course that changed from mainly tarmac and an external course route to the Belvoir estate to a significant amount of trail and remaining on the estate just before the race. Great marshals and volunteers but, the course terrain would likely put me off next year.

Fantastic course with great views. Not the most organized race I’ve been to

Well looked after and beautiful countryside (long hill a bit of a challenge!). Course stewards did a great job of taking care and encouraging us.

We understand this is the 1st time for this event at Belvoir and it was our 1st ever Half Marathon. If we had understood fully what the terrain would be like and the relentless inclines, we would have picked a different course. One pointer on the organisation, the person who stands and collects parking money and directs needs to be much further along the drive onto the estate as it was holding up traffic on the road coming in, and maybe have 2 people doing it?The best thing was the encouragement from the public and volunteers on the day. All the volunteers did an amazing job!

Great organisation and atmosphere. Course was a little too uneven for me so I did have to walk quite a bit (as I damaged my knee last year and didn’t want to aggravate it).

It was a scenic but very challenging course!!! As of 5pm the following day still not had official times! Did the Prestwold half in February and within hour of certainly me finishing we had the official timings and there were over 1000 participants! Organisation ok - briefing at the start couldn’t really hear - no microphone etc. Told no headphones - nothing in the race information provided beforehand. No mile markers on the course. However, the Marshalls on the course were great. Not a very big turnout so made it feel more friendly and lot of support/encouragement from other runners. Wouldn’t run it again.

Poor communication both before and at the event. Water station not fit for purpose and needed more. Did not need a T-shirt but perhaps something more substantial than a small cup of water. Poor signage at the end. No marshalls. Very misleading course information (much more than 'a small amount of grass and trails). Chips should have been posted rather than having to queue for ages; no time to warm up properly. Not enough participants to feel like an event. Cars driving around past runners and even a bonfire burning on the side of the road?!?! Big thanks to the volunteers but a poor show in terms of professional organisation and execution. Will not participate again.

It was not the experience i signed up for ! The course was changed from when I booked the race (not sure why). Were told we would run through 2 small villages, but it was just 2 x laps around the Belvoir Castle estate ! it was more like a cross country course & very tough !!!

I had a really good time at the race! I would definitely do this event again - if I ever decide to do a half again.
