Nice to get out into the countryside and there were some stunning views. Pretty chilly to start with though! Some very steep climbs, I’d almost say a bit too much for me, and only did the 16 miles. Definitely be prepared to walk for some of it! One of the toughest runs I’ve done so far, but equally one of the most rewarding. Organisers were super helpful and friendly and there was a good vibe amongst participants. Probably wouldn’t do the exact same run again, but it’s definitely one to do once if you like trail running and don’t mind hills.
