Parking

Parking will still be in the Crosswater’s car park. Lake View House, Rennie Dr, Dartford DA1 5FU. This is about 300m from the race start.

Please don’t leave any rubbish in the car park. We are very lucky to have the use of their car park.

10:00 Swims start

Rules

Swimmers must have open-water swimming experience and must swim in a wetsuit. You will be asked to sign a race waiver form before the race to confirm this. Please bring a swimming hat.

As it's only a small race this year, we are happy for you to wear a tow float if you wish, but we would ask you to start at the back please.

Water Temperature

The event organiser will post the Temperatures on the website on Saturday evening. This will be taken again at 8am on Sunday morning.

There are toilets in the visitors center about 150m away.

Registration & Briefing

Registration will be by the lake in the marquee. There will be a short race brief before you enter the water to go over water safety.

Awards

As it's only a small race this year, the event organiser will post a list of who will win Trophies on a board at registration. We will only be giving out 1st place trophies as most of the races are very small.
