Join us for the February edition of the Birmingham Running Festival at Sutton Park in support of Birmingham Children’s Hospital. With Half Marathon, 10K, 5K and Junior race options, there’s something for everyone in this early-season fitness event.
Enjoy a refreshing run through peaceful woodlands and open parkland in a historic venue that has hosted some of the UK’s top running talent.

PARKING/TRAVEL
There is race specific parking available around the Visitors Centre in addition to all of the Park’s usual car parks.

Event day logistics

09:00 am - Half Marathon
09:45 am - 10k
09:55 am - 5k
11:30 am - Junior Race
12:00 pm - Race End
MINIMUM AGES
Half Marathon - 17 years and above
10k - 15 years and above
5k - 11 years and above
Junior Race - U11
BAGGAGE
We will have a secure marquee where you can leave your baggage. We recommend you bring as little baggage as possible. Your baggage tag is attached to your race number, you simply tear it off and attach it to your bag. To collect, show your number to our staff and they will help you find your baggage.
TOILETS
Portaloos in the event village.
REFRESHMENTS
There will be water provided on each lap of the course and there will also be water available at the finish along with your post race goodies and medal.
There will be no water station for the 5k race.
RESULTS
Results will be available here immediately after the race.
PICTURES
We will have an official photographer at the event, please check out our photos page after the race.

Yes, there are toilets at the Visitor Centre, at Banners Gate, and at the Wyndley Leisure Centre.

Yes, the course is laps around the park. 5k runners will complete 1 lap, 10k runners will complete 2 laps, and 4 laps for the Half Marathon.

Entrants will run inside the park along roads/paths, not on grass.
