Trail events are brilliant, this is my 4th event with them. Only gripe this time was poorer than normal signage but not to take away from a brilliant route and excellent staffing.

A few early sections in the first 1-2km were quite narrow with queues to cross stiles etc, but after that it was a great route. Good support at the stop points and great atmosphere at the finish. Really enjoyed it overall despite the tough climb!

I always love the events and runs TEC put on, the course is always a challenge and the volunteers are always helpful and caring! I recent took part in the black mountains marathon. It was a wonderful day, but was slightly let down by a lack of signage and so many of us ran an addition 3/4miles to get back on track. This was on the way running down into the vale of eways for the second time heading to the stables. It would also have been a huge help if there could’ve been a sign at the stables saying where the next check point was (this was definitely explained to us at the briefing beforehand) but after running 24miles it was hard to remember. Anyway, these are just some points, aside from that it was an amazing day and as always can’t thank you enough for putting these events together - can’t wait to to do the Brecon Beacons marathon next year!!

Spectacular course whilst not being very technical. Recommended, especially for a first mountain trail race.

The course, as I've come to expect from your events, was challenging and through stunning countryside. There were a couple of points where it was hard to follow the route (With a couple of others, I did take a sub-optimal route on a couple of occasions...) as arrows were missing / unclear or on the ground. Not sure whether this was sabotage or whether arrows had been laid on the ground as the ground was so hard. Also some arrows looked as if they needed replacing. Looking forward with fingers crossed to when you are able to return to 2 day events. Marshalling one day and running the other made for a fabulous weekend!

Good overall experience. Tough course, lost the path a few times as the markers weren't clear for a few sections. Will probably do this run again.
