Route information

This popular event takes place in the market town of Masham. It is a wonderful event for runners of all abilities, whether you are a serious trail runner or trying a running event for the first time.

Runners have the option of a 3 Hour Challenge and a 6 Hour Challenge. But don't be alarmed by these long time periods, runners will complete loops of a 3.35 mile loop and you can do as many laps as you wish. Advanced runners can test themselves over this long time limit and see what amazing distance they can cover in the time. Whilst anyone new to running can take it one lap at a time and do as few or as many as they wish.

If you want a break between laps, or you want to finish your challenge, all you have to do is ring the bell at the end of the lap.

The route itself is multi-terrain and will provide an exciting variety for those taking part. The course is undulating and heads through the edge of the market square. You can be sure that the brilliant Its Grim Up North Running team will support you all the way around, whether you are completing 1 lap or 10!

After the race, runners can celebrate together with a BBQ, where Blacksheep sausages will be served, as well as other treats and goodies.
