The Brecon Beacons Trail Running challenge will take you on some of the most picturesque trails that Wales has to offer. You will head out onto the Taff Trail and around Talybont reservoir. Whilst you race take in the amazing views of the peak of Pen-y-Fan. This event is completely canicross friendly so you are welcome to bring your dog to race with you.

Parking
Parking will be open from 06:00 which will cost £5 which must be paid in cash on arrival.
Camping
Camping will be available at the Gilestone Farm, check-in will be open from 16:00 to 20:00. This will cost £7 per person per night and £5 for parking. There will be portable toilets and water available - no hookups, barbecues or fire pits allowed.

Age Requirements
Age requirements are as follows for the following distances:
  • Ultra: Entrants must be 18 years of age or older to participate
  • Marathon: Entrants must be 18 years of age or older to participate
  • Half Marathon: Entrants must be 17 years of age or older to participate
  • 11k: Entrants must be 15 years of age or older to participate
Cupless event
Brecon Beacons Trail Challenge 2023 is a cupless event so all participants must bring their own form of the water carrier, whether that be a bottle, a cup or a camel pouch.
Canicross
The Brecon Beacons Trail Challenge is dog friendly so why not bring along your four-legged friend.
