Really enjoyed it the only thing was the two rough roads we went on not good for a road bike.

Hi Having ridden the full on Sunday I was very disappointed with the state of 2 roads on the course. The roads were full of potholes and loose gravel all over the road. This made it very dangerous and on one occasion my rear bike wheel slide out and I was very lucky to stay upright. In my opinion these 2 roads should never have been included in the full course as it was very dangerous to ride on and an alternative route should have been sought. Also at the car parking facilities the large rise and fall bollards where still in the up position which al lot of people found very confusing and difficult to negotiate them to enter the car park.Surely someone from Brewdog should have lowered the bollard before participants arrivedKind RegardsJohn Bee

Parts of the route I would have actually classed as dangerous and unsuitable for road bikes. There were thousands of pounds worth of bikes going over those places and I can't believe some weren't damaged in some way. I certainly won't be doing it again.

Course generally ok but used two stretches of farm road strewn with gravel and pot holes. No warning signs before this section.Registration could have been more efficient. No medals. Otherwise all went well.Flat atmosphere at finish. No music, no event welcome as such. No outside seats left so had to sit in large dark hall…zero atmosphere. Probably won’t do it again.

All in all fantastic day. A lot more inclines than advertisement suggested. Staff were phenomenal. Wish the refreshment stop was more of a half way point or another one as I ran out of water on the half pint route. Burgers and beers at the end were fantastic.

Missed the first feeding station as did others I spoke to and felt better signage overall would be better. Couple of junctions crossing dangerous main roads could have had a Marshall at them. Some parts of the course had very very poor road surface. Burger at the end was a mess other than that I enjoyed if. Many thanks.

One section where the roads were covered in chuckies/sand/grit but apart from that great choice of route.

The event is well organised and well attended. I enjoyed the undulating course (full pint 100km), beacuse it was challenging. However, the road surfaces were terrible. Some sections were far too gravely, and were unsafe for road racer bikes. There were some sections that were almost farm tracks, not roads (more suited to gravel bikes). None of this was disclosed in the run up to the event. I think a new route should be found for next year. I did enjoy the event but I won't do it again unless it's a different route. Thanks
