Route information

Castle 2 Castle is a 32 mile ultra marathon that will start in the amazing Powis Estate and pass the beautiful Powis Castle before heading onto a mixture of undulating public footpaths and canal paths. Near the end you will pass the amazing Chirk Castle before finishing at Caffi Wylfa in Chirk.

How to get there

Get full directions

Option 1)

Runners have the option of being dropped off by family / friends in Welshpool in time for registration and race briefing. Runners would also need to arrange collection from Chirk at the end of the race.

Option 2)

Runners will have the opportunity to park near the finish in Chirk and travel by coach to race HQ for registration and briefing. This option is free parking and £10 for the coach travel. The runner will need to pay for the coach travel when booking your race entry. The bus will leave Chirk at 6am.
