About
Celebrating its 14th year, the Chichester Half Marathon returns in partnership with More Leisure, offering runners a memorable route that combines historic city streets, beautiful countryside and spectacular South Downs scenery.
Beginning in the centre of Chichester, the course takes participants past some of the city’s best-known landmarks, including Chichester Cathedral, The Cross and sections of the ancient Roman Walls, before heading out towards the rolling trails of the South Downs.
One of the standout moments of the route is the climb to The Trundle, where runners are rewarded with incredible panoramic views stretching across Chichester, Goodwood and the south coast. It is a challenging yet inspiring section that makes the event truly unique.
After the ascent, the course transitions into a faster, more flowing downhill section along the popular Centurion Way, guiding runners back towards the city and the finish line.
Whether you are aiming for a personal best or simply taking in the atmosphere and scenery, the Chichester Half Marathon offers an experience to remember.
Every finisher will also receive a striking commemorative medal to celebrate their achievement.
