Route information

This stunning 8,500-acre forest, provides the perfect setting for this race with a cause. With new 16K and Junior races for 2026 in addition to a 5k and 10k, runners will experience the amazing scenery of North York Moors National Park as they complete the multi-terrain course.

Your event will start with a pre-race warm-up session before you take on the course which features long downhills, flat, fast sections, and hidden forest terrain. The route will be well-marked and marshalled throughout.

Race Packs

You can collect your race pack including your race number and timing chip at the registration tent within the event site. Registration opens at 08.00.

Cut-Off Times:

5K = 40 mins

10k = 90 mins

16K = 2.5 hours

Junior race = NA

Age Requirements

16k : 16 and over
10k: 15 and over
5k: 14 and over
Junior race: 4 and over. Babies in running friendly pushchairs are able to take part with a responsible adult pushing them.

Bag Drop

There will be no formal bag drop onsite.

Event Photography

There will be no official photographer however, we will have event team staff capturing the race!
