Set against the breathtaking backdrop of the Bakewell Showground, this trail running event offers three incredible routes: Half Marathon, 15K, and 9.5K, each showcasing the best of the Peak District's natural beauty.

The adventure begins on the iconic Monsal Trail, leading runners alongside the serene River Derwent, with the majestic Chatsworth House towering in the distance. As the route unfolds, you'll weave through rolling countryside, passing the picturesque village of Edensor, where stunning panoramic views open up before you.

A thrilling descent prepares you for the final challenge, a small but rewarding climb into the tranquil Manners Wood. From here, the home stretch builds anticipation, culminating in an exhilarating finish that tests your endurance and determination.

Event Day Timings

7:30am - Venue Opens

The car park opens to allow runners to prepare themselves for the race and grab a coffee.

9:00AM - 22km Distance Race Start!

The race kicks off as the Half Marathon distance runners cross the start line.

9:10AM - 15km Distance Race Start!

The race kicks off as the Medium distance runners cross the start line.

9:20AM - 9km Distance Race Start!

The race kicks off as the Short distance runners cross the start line.

1:30pm - The Race Finishes / Cut-off Time

Your adventure finishes, you will cross the finish line and collect your bag full of goodies.

2:00pm - The Event Centre Closes

The venue closes.

Course Signage

The race will be clearly signed using PINK arrows and PINK tape.

We will also mark hazards and road junctions with 'Caution' signs. Please take care at these points.

Things to note

● You will collect your running bib number on arrival at the event. Please bring your QR code with you on the day and head to 'Registration' for collection.

● Save The Event Phone Number: 02033 717 156.

● If you have your bib, there is no need to register on the day.

● Bib numbers should be displayed clearly on the front of you.

● We are plastic free, please bring a reusable cup / bottle for use at the water stations.

● There will be First Aid support located at the on-course aid stations and event centre.
