Route information
Sprint Triathlon: 750m swim/ 25k bike/ 5k run
750m Swim
This sea swim will see participants make a triangle in the Gosford Sands in the Firth of Forth.
25k Bike
This bike route will take participants out on the quiet country roads which surround Gosford House. The route will be one large loop.
5k Run
2 x 2.5k laps
2 x 2.5k laps

There will be parking on-site at a £5 charge. You will only be able to pay for parking with cash, so please make sure you bring £5 in cash.

* Participants should aim to arrive about 1.5 hours before the triathlon starts to leave enough time to register, put your bike in transition and warm up.
Race Pack
Race packs must be collected on the morning from registration. Your race pack will include a race number and 2 stickers which should be attached to your bike and helmet.
You will need to bring a photo ID to register and take part.
Age Requirements
Participants must be at least 17 on event day to take part.
Race Rules
- This is a non-drafting event. Drafting may result in your disqualification.
- You should not litter on the course
- Your helmet must be fastened on your head at all times whilst you are on your bike or running through transition with your bike.
All competitors must comply with British Triathlon Federation (BTF) rules.
Transition Rules
- Only competitors wearing their ID will be allowed in and out of the transition area.
Bag Drop
Unfortunately, there will not be a bag drop at this event. It is advised by the event organiser to leave your belongings in your locked car, keeping valuables out of sight. If you are not travelling by car, please travel as light as possible.
Water & Nutrition
There will be water available at the start/finish area. It is recommended that you take your own water and nutrition on route.
Onsite Facilities
There will be toilets available.
British Triathlon Federation Membership
You will need to be a BTF member to compete. If you aren't, you must be licensed to race which will be a £6 charge payable when booking your ticket.
