What’s Included
You will be part of one of the fastest growing running events in the North West
All finishers will get their hands on a commemorative Tour of Tameside Hero Half Marathon medal
You will get a post race pick me up snack
You will receive free chip timing and race results online and by text message
There will be a Photographer and Videographer on race day
Lots of entertainment, music and fun for all the family available in our Athletes Village
Water will be supplied at the start, middle and end of the race
Marshaled race route on closed roads
Route markers every 1km
Raceday Logistics
8.00-8.30 AM: We advise you get to Rough Fields , Padfield Main Road early to ensure you secure your parking space. You will see the start gantry at Rough Fields.

9.00 – 9.30 AM: Please feel free to wander around our Athletics Village area. Here we have lots of supporters freebies and products on offer from our sponsors. Please also ensure you leave yourself time to chat to us if needed at the race HQ.

9.40 AM: Memorial Run – P.C. Nicola Hughes – This will start from the same place as the Half Marathon on Rough Fields and will go around a small course through Hadfield Town center. Cost is only £5 and ALL those proceeds go to the Charity.

9.45 AM: We are offering a free warm up for anyone who is interested. Please head over to the warm up area at the start area to prepare for the run.

10.00 AM: Ready. Steady. Go!

1.00PM: Results from the day can be found on We will crown our male, female and age category winners. We have a cash prize fund available for our top male and female winners. No daily vets or team individual prizes.

2.00PM onwards: Please ensure you get home safely and rest for the very final Tour of Tameside Stage, the Dr Ron Hyde 7 Mile race.
