Join us for the Hillsborough Castle & Gardens Running Festival on Sunday 25th July 2027!
Take on a memorable summer race through the stunning grounds of Hillsborough Castle and Gardens in support of Northern Ireland Hospice. With 10K and Half Marathon distances available, this unique event offers a brilliant race day setting for runners of all abilities.
Starting and finishing within the beautiful castle grounds, each route gives you the chance to enjoy a scenic run surrounded by historic gardens, open parkland, and a lively festival atmosphere. Whether you are chasing a new challenge, running for a cause, or enjoying a race day with friends and family, this is a special opportunity to be part of an unforgettable event.

There will be parking at the venue for all runners.
By Train
Lisburn train station (5 miles away) and Moira train station (8 miles away) are located within close proximity to the Castle.
Event day logistics
09:00 Half Marathon starts
09:40 10k starts
CUT OFF
Please note there is a 3hr cut off on this event due to road closures in place.

BAGGAGE
We will have a secure area where you can leave your baggage. We recommend you bring as little baggage as possible. Your baggage tag is attached to your race number, you simply tear it off and attach it to your bag. To collect, show your number to our staff, and they will help you find your baggage.
REFRESHMENTS
There will be water provided approximately every 5km along the course, and there will also be water available at the finish along with your post-race goodies and medal.
RESULTS
Results will be available here immediately after the race.
