What a fantastic event! One of the best half marathons that I have ever done. The course was brilliant, the organisation and marshals were awesome and the crowds were fantastic, all topped off with the best event village ever! Perfect, well done Ilkley!

A great addition to the running calendar. The event was very well organised and there was plenty to do for the family in the event village. Definitely one I'd do again.

Inaugural Ilkley half marathon has set the bar very high. Excellent communication leading up to race day and on the day. Fantastic event village ( more toilets. Next year) and a friendly feel. Really scenic route, brilliantly marshalled with hundreds of volunteers, well organised water stations with a special mention for the Scouts handing out sweets. Phenomenal crowds created a real event feel. Oh and a free festival village thrown in! Fantastic event that the organisers should be proud of, roll on 2020!
