Take On the Marlow Triathlon at Higginson Park on Sunday 30th May 2027
On Sunday 30th May 2027 the Marlow Triathlon returns for another year. This event offers Middle, Olympic, and Sprint distances ideal for both seasoned athletes and newcomers.
Swim in the River Thames, cycle through the scenic Chiltern countryside, and finish strong with a riverside run across the park. With stunning views and a well-organised setup, it’s a must-do event to kick off your summer season.
Whether you're taking on your first triathlon or chasing a personal best, this event offers Sprint, Olympic, and Middle distances. Each race begins with an open-water swim in the River Thames, followed by scenic bike routes through the rolling Chiltern countryside, and finishes with a run on grassy terrain in the heart of Marlow.

There are a number of car parks in Marlow town centre. We recommend using parkopedia.com to find a space. We recommend arriving early and planning your journey in advance.
Event day logistics
START TIMES
Middle Distance Triathlon - 6:30am
Olympic Triathlon - 8:00am
Sprint Triathlon - 9:30am
CUT -OFF TIME
There is a 8 hour cut-off on the Middle Distance triathlon:
Swim - 1 hour
Cycle - 3 hours 50 minutes
Run - 2 hours 40 minutes
MINIMUM AGES
Middle Distance - 18 years and above
Olympic Triathlon - 17 years and above
Sprint Triathlon - 15 years and above
BAGGAGE
We will have a secure marquee where you can leave your baggage. We recommend you bring as little baggage as possible. Your baggage tag is attached to your race number, you simply tear it off and attach it to your bag. To collect, show your number to our staff and they will help you find your baggage.
TOILETS
There will be toilets in the event village, we will also have course toilets by the bike aid station and the run water station.
REFRESHMENTS
There will be aid stations provided on every lap of the run course, and there will also be water available at the finish along with your post race goodies and medal. There will be an aid station on the bike course as you head out onto your second lap for the Olympic and Middle distance triathletes.
RESULTS
Results will be available here immediately after the race.
