This the third time I have completed the NAAC 10K, it’s a well organised event in great surroundings and is very family friendly, the route is perfect for a PB and is well marshalled throughout. There is a water station around the 5K at the beginning of an out and back section so if you need it you can get water twice. Good crowds at the finish with food and drinks available. All in all a great event. … read more

Route description
Route description

The start and finish of the race takes place on the athletics arena within the grounds of St Matthews Academy.

The race follows a very flat, fast route which includes scenic promenade, tarmac old railway track and some sections of pavement. There is one small hill in the second half of the race. Runners are advised to remain on pavements and refrain from running along the roadside. There will be plenty of marshals on route and the course will be well sign posted. Please note that a time limit of 1hour 30minutes has been set for this event.
