The Newport Olympic & Sprint Triathlon is a great event for beginners and triathletes looking to get a fast race.
The Sprint Tri is a 400m swim (16 lengths) 20k superflat bike and 5k flat run
The Olympic is a 800m swim (32 lengths) 40k bike (2 laps) and 10k run (2 laps)
The bike and run routes are very flat and the pool is fantastic for spectators with stadium seating

The first wave starts at 1.00pm so no need for that early start
Age Requirements
Entrants must be 16 and over to participate in this event.
Race Number
Registered participants will be emailed their race number by the Wednesday before the event.
Your timing chip must go on your left ankle, and the stickers must go on your bike and helmet.
Toilets / Changing rooms
Changing rooms and toilets available at Transition 1 (located on map).
