About
The Northumberland Coastal Run is one of the most spectacular races in Britain. Half Marathon on multi terrain trails, footpaths, beach and road. It is a slightly longer than half marathon distance run on the stunning beaches, trails and road from Beadnell to Alnmouth. The event is organised by Alnwick Harriers and is in its 38th Year.

Route information
Starting at Beadnell, the route takes you through fishing villages, along the beach and in the shaddow of Dunstanborough Castle before finishing in Alnmouth. The actual distance varies from year to year depending on tides but usually about 13.5 miles.
What's included
Entries for the 2018 Northumberland Coastal Run on Sunday 29th July have now closed with all 1250 places being snaffled in just over 3 hours!
It is possible to transfer places in the race with the deadline to be confirmed, however its likely to be around the start of July.
