Join us for the Carsington Water Half Marathon & 10k on Saturday 21st August 2027!

Take on a late-summer run around Carsington Water, following an undulating route on trail paths with stunning views across the reservoir and surrounding countryside.

With August bringing warm seasonal energy, open landscapes, and beautiful waterside scenery, this event is a great choice for runners looking to enjoy a memorable Half Marathon or 10k in the Derbyshire countryside. Expect a rewarding course with plenty of views to carry you through each mile.

Paid parking is available at the venue with number plate recognition; payment is required upon exit.

START TIMES

Half Marathon - 09:30 am

10k - 10:00 am

BAGGAGE

We will have a secure marquee where you can leave your baggage. We recommend you bring as little baggage as possible. Your baggage tag is attached to your race number, you simply tear it off and attach to your bag. To collect, show your number to our staff and they will help you find your baggage. Any bags left at the 10k start will be transported to the finish for you to collect at the end.

TOILETS

We will be using toilets located behind the visitor centre.

There is also a toilet block located in Millfields Car Park at the 10k start.

REFRESHMENTS

There will be water provided at the 5k point of the 10k race, and at miles 3, 6 and 9 on the half marathon. There will also be water available at the finish along with your post race goodies and medal.

RESULTS

Results will be available here immediately after the race.
