Join us for the Carsington Water Half Marathon & 10k on Saturday 13th February 2027!
Set in the heart of Derbyshire, this scenic event takes runners around the stunning Carsington Water on an undulating route made up of trail paths, open views, and peaceful countryside surroundings.
Taking place in the crisp winter season, this is a brilliant chance to enjoy fresh air, wide reservoir views, and a rewarding early-year challenge. Whether you choose the Half Marathon or 10k, expect a memorable route with plenty of natural beauty from start to finish.

Paid parking is available at the venue with number plate recognition; payment is required upon exit.

BAGGAGE
We will have a secure marquee where you can leave your baggage. We recommend you bring as little baggage as possible. Your baggage tag is attached to your race number, you simply tear it off and attach to your bag. To collect, show your number to our staff and they will help you find your baggage. Any bags left at the 10k start will be transported to the finish for you to collect at the end.
TOILETS
We will be using toilets located behind the visitor centre.
There is also a toilet block located in Millfields Car Park at the 10k start.
REFRESHMENTS
There will be water provided at the 5k point of the 10k race, and at miles 3, 6 and 9 on the half marathon. There will also be water available at the finish along with your post race goodies and medal.
RESULTS
Results will be available here immediately after the race.
