Lack of toilets let the event down..I queued for ages before the event and still didn't get chance to go. More toilets were required

Toilet facilities were inadequate with enormous queues, but other than that it was a great event which I would happily do again.

Great race but toilet situation was not okay. The queues were far too long and runners should have been able to use toilets inside of the stadium. I have recently had a baby and needed the toilet, queues were far too long and I would have missed start of race if I had waited.

Great event overall. Well organised & a nice route along the Tyne. Enjoyed starting and ending in the stadium.Only complaint was lack of toilets. Had to abandon queuing after half an hour waiting to use the block at the top of the stand as 10k was due to start. Luckily spotted a couple of portaloos over the other side. My experience of similar events, including Great North 10k at same venue is that there's usually plenty of portaloos and very little waiting time. Only other issue was very aggressive steward shouting at lady in front for having earphones in when wheelchair user was trying to pass. I appreciate he needed to get round her and she hadn't heard, but the steward's agressive manner saying she would be disqualified was over the top. I'm fairly sure there was nothing to say earphones weren't allowed. That said I enjoyed the run & would definitely enter again next year..
