The increase in popularity of these races is a reflection of how good these races are both for the elite and the casual runner. Fechin puts a lot of work into making these races go smoothly. They are great value for money. Entry/ registration procedure is easy and efficient. So nice not to have to go searching for a car parking space on the road with unlimited parking adjacent to the start. Quite happy to put something in the bucket (optional) to support a local charity. Course is fast, traffic free and well marshalled. Lots of support around the course and at the finish. Love the goody bag. Not bothered about the medal but good for some on completion of the series. Presentation and results quicker than any race I know. Good to reward fastest times (all age groups) with bonus awards.
