Route information
The route start line will be approximately 800 metres from the registration area at White Heather Hotel. The half marathon route is a perfect entry into half marathon running for beginners since it is mostly flat and has only 73 metres of gained elevation.
Runners will take a route entirely on country roads providing a consistent running surface. There are endless possibilities for country views on this course, circling the South Solway Mosses National Nature Reserve.
As the route circles back round, the half marathon will finish at the Kirkbride Airfield, a stone's throw from the White Heather Hotel.

Registration
Runners will need to pick up their race numbers and timing chips from registration before the race between 08:00 and 09:10. Please arrive early enough to account for registration and warm up before the race briefing at 09:15. Registration will be at Race HQ at the White Heather Hotel.
Prize Presentation
30 minutes after the first person has crossed the finish line, there will be a prize presentation.
Age Requirements
All runners must be aged 17 or over to compete in this race.
On Site Facilities
There will be both male and female toilets available. A space will be made available for bag drop. Please note that any items are left at their own risk so please only bring essentials.
Water Stations
There will be water stations at miles 4 and 8. Water will be in bottles which runners will have to collect themselves, bottles will not be handed out.
Headphones
Only bone conducting headphones are permitted for this event following UKA guidelines.
Results
Results will be available live online approximately 20mins after the start at Timing Up North.
