The route starts in Cobham before travelling south into the Surrey Hills, an area of outstanding natural beauty. Riders will travel all the way down near Petworth before looping back up through Plaistow and Shere, before heading back up to Cobham.
See here for a full GPX of the course.
The feed station is located at The Cricketers Arms Pub Wisbrough Green.
This event is designed to be a way to test your own performance, not so much a race so you can take it at your own pace and challenge yourself. However, now in its 16th year, there is a twist coming to 2025. Riders will now have 6 hours to cover the course – it’s time to go hard or go home! This equates to just under 11mph (17.33 kph), starting at 08:30, feed station closes at 11:30 and the event finishes at 14:30.
Those who enter and finish within a time band will be rewarded with a discount on European Cycling Events' foreign trips in 2026. The discount will be dependent on your official chip time, not your GPS, and is only available for 2026 trips.
