When and where does the St Helens 10k place?
The GPW Recruitment St Helens 10k takes place on Sunday 10th March. The event starts and finishes at the Totally Wicked Stadium, McManus Way, St Helens. The race starts at 09:30 prompt, however advise that all participants arrive at the stadium, no later than 09:00- This is to ensure they do not miss out on any important safety information and warm-ups.
How do I enter and when do I need to enter by?
Entries and payment of entry fees must be made online via the website. We do not accept entries via post, in person or on the day of the event. Registrations for the GPW Recruitment St Helens 10k will close when we reach our maximum capacity of runners. Please keep an eye on the website and our social media pages for any entry deadline updates.
Can I register on the day?
Unfortunately not! Registrations for the St Helens 10k will close when capacity is reached. Please note: We only accept entries online.
Do I need to be able to run 10K?
Absolutely not, you can walk, run or jog whichever pace suits you the best, there is a place for you.
Is there a minimum age?
Yes, all runners must be at least 16 years of age. (At the time of the race).

Can I represent a different charity?
Of course you can - but if you'd like to run for the Steve Prescott Foundation and raise £250 or over we'll refund the full cost of your entry!
Is the St Helens 10k UKA accredited?
Yes! We hold a UKA License and a UKA Course Measure Certificate confirming the accuracy of the course.
What do I get for my entry fee?
As well as entry to the GPW Recruitment St Helens 10k, all participants will receive a goody bag which includes a medal and finishers t-shirt. Goody bags are handed out at the finish line.
Can I defer my entry or get a refund?
Unfortunately due to the substantial costs involved in staging the 10k we cannot defer entries or offer a refund. You can transfer your entry to another runner if you contact us before 1st February 2019 (please see below).
Can someone else take my place?
We are able to transfer entries to another runner provided you contact us before 1st February 2019. Please contact info@sthelens10k.com with the name, full address (including postcode), date of birth, email address and mobile number for both the original entrant and the new runner. We cannot accept transfers after this date. All runners must use the number allocated to them and anyone not doing so will be disqualified from the event.
How do I get my race number and timing chip?
Race packs, including race number/timing chip will be sent out by Royal Mail approximately 2 weeks before the event. If you have not received your pack by Friday 22nd February 2019 please contact info@sthelens10k.com so that we can arrange for a replacement to be available for collection on race day.
How do I find out what time I achieved?
The results should be live via the event website and the TDL Event Services shortly after the event finishes.Can’

Download the TDL App from either the App Store or the Play Store for free, connect up your social media accounts and it’ll post on your behalf as you pass our allocated checkpoints, including the finishing time in real-time as you cross the finishing line.Am I allowed to run with headphones/
earphones in?
Some runners require headphones to get themselves “in the zone”, if that’s you, it’s absolutely fine as the St Helens 10K Run takes place on full road closures. Although we have many offerings of live music on route to keep you entertained, as well as a tremendous amount of support from spectators and fellow runners. It’s one of the things our previous North Road Survivor’s like the most about our race. Can I run with a pushchair/
buggy?
Unfortunately pushchairs, buggies and other similar wheeled items are not allowed on the course during the event. If you are a wheelchair user and would like to participate in the event please contact us at info@sthelens10k.com so that we can discuss how we could accommodate you.
Can I run in fancy dress?
Yes absolutely! However for the safety of other runners we do not allow any large items to be carried or pushed on the course while you are running.
Can my friends and family come and support me?
Of course, the more the merrier! Spectators are welcome out and about on the course and at the stadium where they can watch you cross the finish line from the South Stand.
