This 75k route offers a combination of smooth gravel tracks in the Surrey Hills as well as short and sharp off-road climbs through Cobham. Starting at the base of Leith Hill, you'll head north up the ridge towards Ranmore Common. You will then skirt through Box Hill before riding over the smooth flat gravel on the commons of Epsom, Ashtead and Esher.
This is a challenging ride packed with plenty of climbs, in which riders can gain an elevation of up to 1500m. Please bear in mind that the second half of this route has more ascents and descents than the first half, so be sure to conserve your energy.
Medical and Mechanical Support
There will be first aiders and mechanics at all the feed stops on hand if there are any accidents. There will also be ride captains along the route to support the riders.
