I had a great time at the Solva Swim Green Monster 2019! It was very choppy for my first ever sea swim, a miracle I completed it and wasn't last! Amazing support was given from Richard in the sea kayak crew. Thank you! He was fantastic. I would recommend non-professional swimmers to get plenty of sea experience before taking on this course, pool and open water experience didn't help on this occasion. Scenic swim, very challenging and choppy but an overall amazing experience, highly recommend!!

This was a great event- great atmosphere and as a newbie to swimming events felt well supported throughout the swim- lots of lifeguards on kayaks making sure everyone was ok . Really enjoyed, AND didn’t come last 😂

The roughest sea swim I have ever done. Nearly gave in to the Black route but glad I didn't need to. Great guidance from the sea crew (thank you) Brilliant event - especially for an 'average' swimmer

I was well and truly last as a yellow cap and for the whole swim. It was my first time and a baptism by fire. The sea was rough and unforgiving but I had two guardian angels taking me up to the first yellow boy around and talking me back to the finish. I was determined to do it and they got me there. So thankyou so much to Sarah and Dave. You were bloody brilliant. Keep doing what you are doing. Love you both Zoe xxx
