Route information
This course is perfect for all Triathlon experience levels as it hosts two different distances. The outdoor pool is heated so there will be no cold shock as you and your fellow triathletes dive off the blocks into soothing warm water. The 40-metre pool will allow you to achieve a great time due to the nature of it being in an enclosed environment rather than open waters.
You will then be safely and securely whisked to the bike transition point. Dig deep as you ascend the first hill of the loop. Once up the first hill you will take an undulating riding route through the fantastic, picturesque landscape of the surround areas of the Forest of Dean. In the final section of the ride let the descending hill do all the work as your legs recover before the running stage.
The run will be on a looped flat course to help you push yourself towards the finish line.
