Route information
Starting at Amberley Museum, this excellent trail race sees runners travelling over fire trails, forest paths and farm tracks with hills and technical sections thrown in for good measure.
The short route is the hilliest or most of Maverick's events, with just over 300m of ascent in just over 8k, and the middle and long routes are some of the organiser's toughest.
Signing up to this event will definitely earn you some series kudos.

There will be free parking available at the venue. It is recommended by the event organiser to car share where possible, to allow enough car park spaces for everyone.
By Train
Amberley station is the closest train station to the start location, at just a short 2 minute walk away. Those travelling from London can ride the Southern Railway from London Victoria to Amberley, taking approximately 1 hour and 45 minutes.

Age Requirements
Age requirements: Participants must be aged 13 and over for the Middle and Long distance. Participants of all ages can enter the Short race, with under 12's going free. Please note that all under 16's must be accompanied by a participating adult.
Water & Nutrition stations
There will be approximately three hydration and nutrition outposts on these routes, provided by Precision Hydration.
Plastic-Free Event
Maverick Race is making every effort to make this season 100% plastic-free. For this reason, there will be no plastic cups at this event, so runners should bring a reusable cup or bottle with them to refill at the stations located on route.

Transfers
If you want to transfer out of an event, this is ok, but only once. You can only transfer to an event if it has not sold out.
The last day to transfer out of an event is the Monday before event day (5 days before the event), please email Maverick on info@maverick-race.com with the name of the event you would like to move to. the organiser are not able to move you out of an event if you contact them after this day.
