As a rider at the Tour de Môn you will have the unique opportunity of cycling around the uninterrupted runway at RAF Mona. Supported by the staff at the prestigious RAF base, you can use the runway as part of the Tour de Môn course.
The Kingud Flying Mile will be available for riders of the Mawr, Canol and Bach.

By Train
The Holyhead Station is less than a mile away from the Event Village. Taxi and Bus services also operate to and from Holyhead Station.
If you are intending on travelling by train please remember to check if a cycle reservation for your journey is required in advance of travel. More information regarding taking bikes on trains can be found on the National Rail website.

Slower cyclists are encouraged to start toward the front of their departure time slot. Cyclists are advised to arrive well before their designated start time.
Age Requirements
- All under 18's must have the British Cycling Parental Consent form signed by a parent.
- Bach, Mawr, Canol: entrants must be at least 13 years old to take part. All participants under the age of 18 to submit a consent form by their parents. Riders under 16 must be accompanied by a parent or guardian.
- Teulu: children under the age of 12 must be accompanied by at least 1 adult. Children aged 13 and over can be accompanied at a ratio of 2 children to 1 adult.
Bike Breakdown
- Please bring all items necessary for on-route repairs
- There will be a pickup vehicle patrolling who may be able to carry out minor repairs
- It is also expected that you carry a mobile phone
Teulu
This is a pay on the day event and costs £5.50 with proceeds going to local causes.

Is there a bag drop available for the Tour De Mon?
There is a bag drop service in the Event Village. Competitors are advised to bring as little baggage as possible.
How will I know which way to go on the Tour De Mon?
The route will be fully signposted and there will be marshals around the course to help guide you.
How old do I have to be to compete?
Gran Fondo Mawr, Canol and Bach - 13 yrs, entries will only be accepted from under 18's upon receipt of a signed parental consent form. Any entrants under the age of 16 must be accompanied by a parent or guardian. The Tour de Teulu is suitable for children accompanied by an adult.
