Led by International Mountain Leader and alpine trail running guide, Simon, this workshop explores the fundamentals of using poles. With a short route approximately 3k in length situated in the Chilterns, taking around an hour and a half, this is the perfect event for beginners to develop and learn at a comfortable pace.

Targeted at a range of runners, from those looking to tackle a multi-day trail running event to those wanting to sharpen up their technique, this workshop offers a wealth of helpful instruction and tips to allow you to fully embrace your running poles.

By Train

The event site is a 40 minute walk from Tring Station, where there is also a taxi rank. Trains from London Euston to the station run frequently, with a 40 minute journey time.

Age Restrictions

Participants in the workshop must be 16 years old or above to run alone, and all those aged under 18 must provide parental or guardian consent. Under 16s must be accompanied by a parent or guardian to participate.

Toilets

Toilets can be accessed nearby in Tring town. Due to limited on-site changing facilities, it is recommended that participants in the workshop arrive already changed.
