This looped course will start and finish at Falkirk Wheel. The beginning of the course will be slightly hilly before being flat once the route reaches the canal.

Age Requirements
Participants must be at least 16 years old to take part in the Half Marathon, 10k and 5k. The Junior 3k is open to runners aged between 9 and 15 and the Junior 1k Fun Run is open to runners aged between 3 and 15.
Bib Collection
Participants will need to collect their race bib from registration on the morning of the event. Registration will be open from 08:00 and close 15 minutes before the start of each race.
On-site Facilities
Toilets will be located at the start/ finish area.

Are there any age restrictions for the Union Canal Anniversary Run?
Yes, the half marathon, 10k and 5k are open to runners aged 16 and over. The Junior 3k is open to runners aged between 9 and 15 and the the Junior 1k Fun Run is open to runners aged between 3 and 15.
What time should I arrive at the Union Canal Anniversary Run?
It is recommended to arrive at least 45-60 minutes before the start of your race to allow plenty of time to register, collect your race pack, attach your race number and warm up.
