Route information

Distance: 10k
Terrain: Road / Pavement
One Lap = 5k

This is a fully closed road course set in the historic town of Wells. Starting in Market Place, the route takes runners down the high street, before running over a paved track that joins the Strawberry Line cycle path.

Then you will run through the village of Dulcote to climb Constitution Hill, which will be the toughest climb of the route. The final stretch of the race will be flat, making for a perfect sprint finish.

The loop is 5k in distance, meaning 10k runners will run it twice.

*Please arrive at least 45-60 minutes before the start of your race to allow plenty of time to park, drop your bag, and warm up.

Race number

Please arrive at least 45 minutes before your race start to pick up your race number on the day at the registration desk in market square.

Age Requirements

There are minimum age requirements for these races, which are as follows:

10k - 15 and over
5k - 13 and over
1.2k - Aged 8 - 12 (prizes by each age group)

Cut-off Time

There is no specified cut-off time for this event. Please do take your time and run at your own pace.

Aid Stations

There will be water stations at the 5k point of the 10k course.

Bag Drop

There is a bag drop service available for the small cost of £1. This is a secure area at Race HQ in which you can leave your belongings while you race.

Race Rules

For your own safety, it is not permitted to wear headphones during the race so that you can easily hear any instructions from the marshals on the course.
