A beautiful and exhilarating night trail run with Play in the Wild UK, that passes by some of West Wycombe's historical sites, including the Mausoleum and surrounding ridges.
This is a looped route, of approximately 6.5 miles, with a number of climbs on the route, but rewarded with expansive views across the valleys at night.

Trail running is less about pace and more about PEACE, as you take in the beautiful torchlit trails. This run is aimed at all abilities, giving opportunities to explore the deep, dark trails at night and showing how great the trail running community is.
Pace
You will run as a group at a relaxed, sociable pace.
Mandatory Kit
  • A headtorch is essential - if you wish to borrow one, the organiser has a limited supply available to lend, so please contact them directly
Recommended Kit
Weather dependent, but you may wish to have the following:
  • Trail shoes
  • Jacket (waterproof recommended)
  • A hat or buff
  • Gloves
  • Fully charged mobile phone.
  • 500ml of water (minimum) and snacks
  • A running pack or small rucksack to carry some of the items listed above
