This event is open to a full range of athletes, from experienced triathletes to newcomers. The course is fast and will no doubt attract some talented athletes, and given the beautiful Arboretum and the surrounding area, this is a race not to be missed.
The 5k run route will take you through some of the most spectacular scenery of the Arboretum and with it's wonderful tree lined pathways, it is truly a spectacular location. You will head into transition and out onto the open rural roads of the surrounding area for your cycle. Before finishing with another run around the stunning Arboretum.

How to get there

The Arboretum can be accessed from the M4 at Junction 18, then following the A46 onto the A433.
The event is popular for people coming from far and wide, so here are the expected travel times from big cities within driving distance.
- London – 1 hour 45 minutes
- Birmingham – 1 hour 30 minutes
- Bristol – 30 minutes
- Cardiff – 60 minutes
- Swansea – 1 hour 45 minutes
- Exeter – 1 hour 45 minutes
There will be parking on-site at the Arboretum for a cost of £5.

You are recommended to arrive at least 1 hour early to give you plenty of time to register and get ready for your race. Please bring photo ID for registration.
You will collect your race pack on the morning of the race, which includes your race numbers and timing chip.
- Competitors must be at least 17 to take part
- This is a no drafting event
- This event will follow British Triathlon Federation Rules.
You must wear a helmet whilst cycling and you cannot wear headphones.
Security will be present in the transition area. Only competitors with their ID will be allowed in or out. You must wear your helmet whether you are on your bike or running with your bike.
If you are not a member of the British Triathlon Foundation your entry will include a day membership for £6.
