Hey Chicago! Ready for a fun, neighborhood run? The 27th Running of the Bucktown 5K and Kids Run is here to “goat” you through one of Chicago’s trendiest neighborhoods on October 4th, 2026!

From start to finish, this flat, family-friendly course showcases the area’s most beautiful historic buildings and homes. Cross the finish line and dive into the post-race party—complete with live music and delicious, fresh snacks! And don’t forget to bring your little runners for the Bucktown Kids Dash!

There is limited street parking available on a first-come, first-served basis in the Bucktown neighborhood. We highly encourage taking public transit, carpooling, or biking to the event. There will be thousands of participants, volunteers, and spectators on site race morning. Please plan for heavy traffic and allow ample time to check your gear and get into your corral.
