Route information
Starting on the west side of Alcatraz, participants will swim through the bay. Aiming for about 200 yards left to the entrance of Aquatic Park, swimmers will enter the cove and finish on the east side of the beach.
There will be plenty of lifeguards and kayakers in the bay to make sure all swimmers are safe. The water temperature is expected to be between 58-62°F. The swim has a cut off time of 75 minutes.
