Apple Festival 5K

Get your running shoes ready for the 48th Annual Apple Festival 5k and 1-mile race! Join us as we kick off the Georgia Apple Festival in energetic stride. This event is not just a run; it's a tradition—one of Georgia's longest-running 5k events, no less! Whether you choose to race on our double-loop course starting at Ellijay Elementary School or run at your own chosen location, it's all about participation and bringing the community together.

For our remote runners, simply record your time and submit it before the deadline—note that virtual racers won't appear in the official results or receive a shirt or award. On race day, gather for registration and packet pick-up bright and early at 7:00 a.m. before lining up at the starting line. With the 5k starting at 8:00 a.m. and the 1-mile at 8:45 a.m., plus a Tot Trot following the awards ceremony, there's something for everyone. Walkers, strollers, and your leashed furry friends are all welcome. Register by 9/19/24 to guarantee your shirt! Rain or shine, this race is a go, equipped with professional timing and results distribution. Come out, race, and be part of this cherished local legacy!
