Route information
The Bike the Bridges event is an event focused on bringing the community together to raise money to support Special Olympic athletes in the community.
The scenic ride will begin and end at Waterfront Park in Martinez, and riders will be treated with panoramic views of the Carquinez and Benicia Bridges as they climb their way around the courses, getting their stomach's ready for the post-race BrewFest and all you can eat BBQ.
There will be 4 different distances to choose from:
25 Miles which has an elevation gain of 467m
50K with 653m of elevation gain
100K which features a solid 1,284m of elevation gain
100 Mile Century Ride with a whopping 2,562m of elevation gain
The course will also feature The King and Queen of the Mountain.
This is a timed portion of the Bike the Bridges which will be sure to ignite the competitive flame of the riders that choose to tackle it. The hill will be Crockett Boulevard, a 540-ft ascent spread over 2 miles with a maximum grade of 13.8%. Those that come out on top in each age bracket will receive the coveted polka-dotted jersey.
At the end of the race, riders will celebrate at the BrewFest, where over a dozen of the best local breweries will be present to provide you with a sample of their latest brews to you enjoy as you refuel with all you can eat BBQ.

Pre-race packet pickup: There will be a pre-race packet pickup at the Five Suns Brewing located at 701 Escobar St C in downtown Martinez from 12pm-3pm the day before the race.
Schedule:
6:30am: Registration opens for Century and 100K riders
7:00am - Registration opens for 25mi/50K riders
8:30am - Opening Ceremonies
9:00am - Ride begins
11:30am - BrewFest with live music, craft beer garden, rider awards and all you can eat BBQ
4:00 pm - BrewFest ends

Will I be able to purchase a lunch ticket for the BrewFest on the day?
No, lunch tickets must be purchased beforehand so that the correct amount of food can be provided.
Can I register for the Bike the Bridges & BrewFest on the day?
Yes, you can register for the event on the day for an extra $10 on top of the ticket price.
Will the Bike the Bridges be a timed event?
The Bike the Bridges event is not a race but should be a fun ride to support Special Olympic athletes. The only timed portion will the King and Queen of the Mountain section up Crockett Boulevard.
