Ready for a spooktacular sprint? Dive into the Halloween spirit with our first-ever Monster Mash Mile Fun Run on October 18, 2025! Dash through Downtown Hilo's scenic Wailoa State Park, starting bright and early at 9:00 am. Dress to impress in your Halloween best – prizes await for top mile times and outstanding costumes! Little monsters can join the fun too, with a special 400-yard dash just for them. Whether you're in it to win it or just for a stroll, all are welcome – and if you're a BIRR member or a kid under 12, you join the party for free!
