Since 2004, AAMWA has spearheaded the largest wellness movement in Central Ohio, earning accolades from President Obama and an official month dedicated to this cause. With a staggering rate of preventable diseases affecting African American men, our quest is fueled by free health screenings and the commitment to longevity and wellness.

Annually, the heartbeat of the campaign is the lively 5K run and walk, adorned with a children's pavilion and a festival—all at no cost to participants, thanks to our dedicated sponsors.
