In 1979 we dreamt of attracting a few hundred of our friends to race through the streets of Boulder, Colorado to celebrate Memorial Day with our families. Fast forward almost 40 years and the BolderBOULDER has grown to become one of the largest and most highly acclaimed 10K’s in the world. Named America’s All-Time Best 10K by Runner’s World, it is the 3rd largest running race in the United States and the 7th largest in the world.

Whether you live in Boulder, Denver, Longmont or anywhere in between you can catch an RTD bus to the race. Check the RunRide schedule on the RTD website for updated bus information.
Your designated driver can drop you off near the start line at our runner drop-off area (see map). It is on the northbound 28th St. Frontage Road between Colorado Ave. and Arapahoe Ave. This area offers easy exit from the start area once you’re on your way.
