Train
Metro Service will not be available for getting to the race site on race day. (It will be open for return trips.)
Parking
The Ronald Reagan Building parking lot is open 24/7 and is very close to the race site. The cost is $17 on the weekend.
Drop-Off
To ease congestion, organizers ask that people coming from Maryland or DC get dropped off at 17th and Constitution Ave., NW. People coming from the south (Virginia) should get dropped at 17th and Independence Ave., SW.
Bike
Two Wheel Valet will provide a bike valet service on race day on the Washington Monument grounds. You may drop off your bike starting at 6:00 am and retrieve it after the race, or leave it and enjoy the cherry blossoms, then retrieve it later in the morning. This service is free to participants. NOTE: The bike parking area will close at 11:30 am on race day, September 12, so please be sure to retrieve your bike by then! You may NOT leave any belongings attached to your bike. If you want to leave any belongings, you will need to place them in the clear plastic bag you will be given at packet pickup and then take it to the bag check area on race morning.

3:00 pm – 8:00 pm Expo open at National Building Museum (packet pickup for Ten Mile Run and 5k Run-Walk closes at 7:45 pm)
3:00 pm – 7:45 pm In-person Kids Run Registration inside the National Building Museum (limit of 500 participants)
SATURDAY
9:00 am – 5:00 pm Expo open at National Building Museum (packet pickup for Ten Mile Run and 5K Run-Walk closes at 4:45 pm)
7:00 am – 9:15 am In-person Kids Run Registration outside the National Building Museum (limit of 500 participants)
9:30 am – 11:30 am Kids Run at National Building Museum (warm-up activities start at 9:10 am)
SUNDAY
6:15 am 10 Mile and 5k bag check open
7:18 am Advance start for elite women
7:29 am Wheelchair race starts (with CUCB motorcycle leading)
7:30 am 10 Mile race starts: Elite male athletes & Yellow Wave #1 start
7:32 am 10M Wave #2 (Red) is sent off
7:34 am 10M Wave #3 (Blue) is sent off
7:39 am 10M Wave #4 (Orange) is sent off
7:45 am 10m Wave #5 (Green) is sent off
7:59 am Last 10 mile runner crosses the start line
9:00 am 5k Run-Walk starts on Independence Ave. heading West toward the Lincoln Memorial
9:10 am Runners not maintaining a 14 minute per mile pace after this point must discontinue the run at this time to return to the start/finish area using the sweep bus.
10:00 am Random awards start
10:05 am 5k course closes; no official finishers after this time
10:15 am Formal Awards ceremony begins
10:18 am All runners must be off the course at this time
11:00 am Bag Check Closes for both 10 mile and 5k – all participant bags must be picked up by this time.
Race Packs
There will be no packet pick-up on race day. All participants should collect their Race Packs from the National Building Museum on the Friday or Saturday before race day. Opening hours are as follows:
Friday 3:00 pm - 8:00 pm
Saturday 9:00 am - 5:00 pm
Cut-Off Times
Participants must maintain a 14 minute per mile pace. If at the 5 mile mark you have not achieved that, you will be taken from the course. The National Park Service limits the time we can close the roads.
Aid Stations
Water and Gatorade Endurance Formula are available in the staging area and on the course at aid stations located at 2.5, 4.25, 6, 7.75 and 8.85 miles. Water is also available at the finish. Medical services are available at all these locations as well.

Can I wear headphones or ear pods to run the Credit Union Cherry Blossom Ten Mile Run?
No, for safety reasons we request that runners do not wear headphones or ear pods so that they can be aware of their surroundings.

Are strollers allowed on the Credit Union Cherry Blossom Ten Mile Run course?
No, strollers are not allowed on the ten mile course. You may use them in the 5k race, but you must start in the back.
