DPS Education Foundation Turkey Trot 2025

Get ready to gobble up the fun at the third annual Turkey Trot 5K Run/Walk and Children's Fun Run, brought to you by the Danville Public Schools Education Foundation, the Danville Otterbots, and the Danville Running & Fitness Club! This festive Thanksgiving Day event kicks off with a children’s run at 8:30 am, followed by the main 5K at 9:00 am, all at the scenic American Legion Field. While you're racing along the Dan River, remember you're supporting DPS students and teachers with every stride—proceeds fund programs, scholarships, and initiatives. Sign up for only $30 in advance, or $35 on race day; students get even more of a break at $15/$20. And with categories for all ages and trophies on the line, there's something for every turkey out there! Let's lace-up, dress up, and run for a cause before the feast begins!
