Freeze For Food

Lace up your sneakers for a heartwarming run (or walk) that makes a real difference at the Freeze for Food 5K/10K! This sporty get-together is your chance to have fun, stay fit, and support Madison’s Open Doors for Refugees food programs. Whether you're a casual walker or a competitive runner, meet us at the scenic Vilas Park Shelter at 12PM for the 5K or 1PM for the 10K. There's no race bag this year, but you'll pick up your racer bib and other goodies, including the 2024 International Calendar, either at Movin’ Shoes on Friday or at Vilas Park on race day. Plus, join in on our food drive effort for the Goodman Community Center by bringing non-perishable pantry items to help those in need. Together, we'll freeze for food and warm hearts!
