Higgins Lake Sunrise Run

Get ready to lace up those running shoes for the Annual Higgins Lake Sunrise Run, delivered with pride by the Northern Michigan Children's Assessment Center! Embrace the challenge amidst the breathtaking scenery as you take on the half-marathon along the east side of the stunning Higgins Lake, kicking off from Higgins Lake North State Park and crossing the finish line at Higgins Lake South State Park. Not just for the distance runners, this event also welcomes a 10K Run, 5K run/walk, and a 1-Mile Kids Fun Run – something for every pace and age!

Registration and packet pickup will be a breeze on Friday, June 13th, from 4:30 PM to 6:30 PM, and bright and early on race day from 6:30 AM to 8:40 AM. Rise with the sun as the half-marathon starts at 7:30 AM, followed by the 10K and 5K at 8:30 AM, and then let the kids shine in their 1-Mile Fun Run at 9:30 AM. Gather your spirit, your friends, and your family – this is a day to enjoy every step of the way!
